Bespoke Designs
In a way all of my work is bespoke, everything is made to order and very often I will tweak designs here and there, according to a brides wishes. It might be as simple as changing the colour of pearls, it might be shortening or lengthening the drop on a pair of earrings, or swapping a hook fitting for a stud fitting. Or it may be that I incorporate pearls or crystals from a piece of jewellery that holds a special sentiment, into an existing design for you. I regularly do all these things and more, happy to, that’s at the heart of what I do.
Sometimes though it’s about creating something completely unique, right from scratch. The long dreamed of, searched for, elusive item that fills your imagination and you won’t rest until you have it! I love to work on projects like this, be it a piece of jewellery, a headdress , hair comb or a hand stitched applique embellishment for your dress. The possibilities really are endless.
If you are able to visit the studio that’s wonderful, otherwise we can work together remotely via email, FaceTime etc. Firstly we discus your wedding; the dress, venue, flowers, hairstyling etc. So I can get a feel for your style. Then we discus in detail your accessory ideas, what you like, what you don’t like and the vision you have for your perfect finishing touches. Onwards from here we work together so I can produce a design for you and a quote.
Timing is important, this process takes longer than simply ordering from the collections, so an early enquiry is appreciated. Remember, you don’t only need the finished item/s delivered in time for the wedding, but in time for hair trials and dress fittings too.
Bespoke commissions require a 50% deposit in advance followed by the balance on completion.
